«Mai Tai» es un catamarán Kelsall construido por Format Systems (Kiel, Alemania) según los diseños KSS de Derek Kelsall en sándwich de poliéster y espuma PVC. Los multicascos Kelsall son conocidos por sus buenas prestaciones y su navegabilidad. Tiene una cabina-timonera abierta sobre la bañera, ideal para zonas soleadas, y 6 camas en 4 camarotes en los cascos. Su dueño lo compró en 2021 y desde entonces renovó gran parte del equipo navegando por el Mediterráneo: dos motores diésel TD Power nuevos (2022, 288 h) con hélices Flexofold, pasacascos, baterías de litio de 280 Ah, ±700 W de placas solares, y todas las superficies interiores y exteriores restauradas profesionalmente.
