One of the last authentic wooden boeiers still sailing, built in 1908 and well maintained.
A robust vessel, heavily built from 9,000 kg of oak, under-rigged and simply fitted out. The rugged look of this boeier comes from her relatively large beam and comparatively high bow and stern.
Seven continuous strakes come together in a strong, handsome sheer.
The berth is a boathouse in Grou, afloat in the water, out of the sun.
Thanks to the counterweight and the deck hatches, the mast can easily be lowered by 1 person, so bridges of only 200 cm can be passed.
The cosy deckhouse gives a dollhouse feeling and offers no standing headroom. Cooking seated, sleeping comfortably and literally crawling out of bed in the morning.
An ideal boat for trips, drying out on the Wadden or simply a day or weekend out.
Extensively restored and renewed since 2010, including: deck beams, deck, side decks, mast trunk, hawse boards, port bulwark, water tank, starboard toe rail & bulwark, plank repairs, deck cover, Garmin plotter, new jib, anchor, batteries.

Een robuust schip, zwaar gebouwd uit 9.000 kg eikenhout, ondertuigd en eenvoudig uitgevoerd. Het stoere uiterlijk van deze boeier komt voort uit de relatief grote breedte, betrekkelijk hoge kop en achterschip. Zeven doorlopende huidgangen komen samen in een forse fraaie zeeg. De ligplaats is een schiphuis in Grou, drijvend in het water, uit de zon. Door het contragewicht en de dekluiken is de mast eenvoudig door 1 persoon te strijken, waardoor bruggen van slechts 200 cm gepasseerd kunnen worden. De gezellige roef geeft een poppenhuisgevoel en biedt geen stahoogte. Zittend koken, comfortabel slapen en 's-ochtends letterlijk je bed uit kruipen. Een ideaal schip voor tochten, droogvallen op het wad of gewoon dag of weekend besteding.
