This beautiful Amsterdam tugboat was saved from the scrapyard by the current owner. Between 2010 and 2018 the tug was completely stripped out, new plates were fitted to the hull at the bow and the stern was lengthened again. The stern was fitted with new bulwarks and a new wheelhouse. The foredeck was fitted with a new deckhouse.
The engine room has a new engine with an overhauled PRM gearbox and a new grease-lubricated propeller shaft with propeller. The tug has been completely re-panelled with a classic interior, aluminium windows in the wheelhouse and solid bronze portholes in the new deckhouse. The vessel has been fully blasted and painted with a 2-component paint system. Hull and bottom are finished with a 2-component epoxy filler.
