"Con Basetta" was built in Italy as a prototype trimaran in three layers of 3 mm cold-moulded wood, sheathed with fibre and epoxy. Its current owner replaced the original floats with those of a Dart catamaran, with special reinforcements for the detachable beams, and it sails well thanks to them. Adapted for drying out on the Wadden with a lifting keel and outboard on a sliding bracket on the transom. Fast sails even in light wind, log, depth sounder and GPS. Needs some cosmetic work, especially inside. For sale on trailer at Lauwersmeer, to the best bidder close to the asking price.
