Wilster – karaktervolle Vollenhovense bol visserman in uitstekende staat
De Wilster is een prachtig gelijnde Vollenhovense bol visserman uitvoering, gebouwd in 1985 door De Scheepbouwers BV te Werkendam (bouwnummer 854). Dit klassieke Nederlandse platbodemjacht combineert authentieke uitstraling met degelijk vakmanschap en modern comfort. Met haar warme houtwerk, verzorgde tuigage en stoere lijnen is zij een opvallende verschijning op ieder vaarwater.
Met een lengte van 8,10 meter, een breedte van 3,10 meter en een geringe diepgang van slechts 0,70 meter, is de Wilster uitermate geschikt voor zowel ruime binnenwateren als ondiepe vaargebieden. Dankzij de strijkbare mast bedraagt de doorvaarthoogte gestreken slechts 2 meter, terwijl deze staand circa 10 meter is.
Aan boord beschikt u over praktische voorzieningen zoals een poti-poti toilet, RVS watertank van ca. 100 liter, aluminium dieseltank van ca. 40 liter, Garmin handheld GPS, marifoon en 3-kleuren toplicht.
De Wilster is door de jaren heen met veel zorg onderhouden en verbeterd. In 2003 is een betrouwbare Volvo Penta MD2030 ingebouwd door VEHA Groningen. Het onderwaterschip is in 2001 gestraald door Elzinga te Irnsum. Recent zijn onder andere vernieuwd of uitgevoerd:

Ook het houtwerk is uitstekend verzorgd: rondhouten, zwaarden en roer zijn in 2023 kaal gehaald en opnieuw behandeld, en overige delen zijn onderhouden met hoogwaardige Epifanes hardhoutolie.
Voor de winterstalling is een zwaar dekzeil en afdekking voor de koekoek aanwezig.
