Deze goed onderhouden van der Meulen kajuitschouw heeft goede zeileigenschappen, ook bij veel wind en heeft daardoor vele prijzen gewonnen. Het uiterlijk is bijzonder, want deze schouw is wat gestrekter en heeft een plattere kajuit dan andere vd Meulen schouwen. Doordat deze schouw altijd in een schiphuis heeft gelegen en iedere paar jaar opnieuw in de lak is gezet, ziet het schip er piekfijn uit. Vorig jaar is het toilet vervangen, twee jaar geleden is het onderwaterschip in de antifouling gezet en vier jaar geleden is het dakje van de kajuit opnieuw gerubberd en gelakt.
