Ondanks deze aanpassingen is het een goede zeiler en loop hoog aan de wind. Het schip is voorzien van een stuurwiel dat bij hoge golven in de zee goed stuurt. Er zit een keuze stand op de hydraulische stuur inrichting dat je tijdens het zeilen de terugslag klep kan uitschakelen. De roerklik-beer achterop het schip is gemaakt door Doef Schinkel, beeldhouwer in Kampen. De romp is in een goede conditie. Inmiddels mag er wel weer wat geschuurd en gelakt worden aan het houtwerk.
