The first example was built in 1995 for an offshore sailing enthusiast who commissioned naval architect Rodolfo Foschi to design a hull closely inspired by Tamata, the last yacht of the legendary Bernard Moitessier. Only five boats of this design were built. MATA HARI is a custum-made steel Cutter, builted by her first owner, an experienced welder, starting in 2001 and launched in 2008.
