Deze Westerdijk Zeeschouw genaamd Swartenhondt is een zeer ruime en comfortabele zeeschouw met een goede stahoogte. Bovendien beschikt de Swartenhondt over zeer goede zeileigenschappen. De Swartenhondt is van 2006 tot 2017 in de verhuur geweest. Na 2017 is de Swartenhondt niet of nauwlijks meer gebruikt en heeft ze in de buitenstalling gestaan onder een afdekkleed.
Het betreft hier een opknapper waarvan de romp en het onderwaterschip recent zijn geschilderd (september/oktober 2024). De Swartenhondt is in de blauwe topcoat gezet en de onderwaterschip/antifouling is compleet aangepakt en is nu zwart. Helaas hebben wij hier geen recente foto's van omdat de Swartenhondt weer compleet is ingepakt onder een afdekkleed.
Technisch is de Swartenhondt in redelijke staat De mast en rondhouten zijn ook in redelijke staat.
Het grootzeil en fok zijn van 2009 en hebben altijd in de binnenstalling gelegen een laatste check laat zien dat deze nog in zeer goede staat verkeren.

The Swartenhondt also has very good sailing qualities. The Swartenhondt was chartered from 2006 to 2017. After 2017 the Swartenhondt was hardly used, if at all, and was kept in outdoor storage under a cover. This is a project boat whose hull and underwater hull were recently painted (September/October 2024). The Swartenhondt has been given a blue topcoat and the underwater hull/antifouling has been completely redone and is now black. Unfortunately we have no recent photos of this because the Swartenhondt is once again completely wrapped under a cover. Technically the Swartenhondt is in reasonable condition. The mast and spars are also in reasonable condition. The mainsail and jib are from 2009 and have always been kept in indoor storage; a recent check shows that they are still in very good condition.
